The standard flooring option included in every Stateline Builders storage shed is ⅝ Inch Square Edge Plywood. This flooring option is best for customers intending to use their portable storage shed for general storage such as tools and smaller garden equipment.
It is important to note, ⅝ Inch Square Edge Plywood does not have a tongue and groove locking so for those that intend to store heavier items, a stronger flooring option is recommended.
If you plan to store heavy items in your storage shed, then the flooring between the floor joists should also have a higher load capacity. For a stronger overall area in your shed, Stateline Builders offer ¾ Inch Tongue and Groove with interlocking grooves.
A tongue and groove flooring is known for its strength and durability, but when you require your storage shed to hold extra large equipment, such as tractors, the Double ⅝ Inch flooring should be considered.
When you plan to store large equipment or heavy supplies, the best flooring option in your storage shed is Double ⅝ Inch, which includes two layers of ⅝ Inch thick plywood. The Double ⅝ Inch flooring is a heavy-duty flooring expected to hold a lot of weight, such as a tractor with liquid-filled tires or a parked car.
Stateline Builders offers three flooring options to meet your weight capacity needs. For everyday storage items, a ⅝ Inch Square Edge Plywood flooring is a great choice in your storage shed. When you plan to storage heavier items, a ¾ Inch Tongue and Groove flooring is better to offer a stronger overall area. For customers that intend to store very heavy items such as cars or tractors, the Double ⅝ Inch flooring is best for a higher load capacity.
